1. What data we collect
We keep this simple. Here's exactly what we collect and nothing more:
- Account data: your email address. That's it. We ask for newsletter subscription.
- Usage data: pages you visit, time spent on the site, and browser type — collected via Google Analytics only if you explicitly accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner. If you decline, nothing is collected.
- No payment data: we don't process payments on this site. Any future billing will go through a third-party processor and their privacy policy will apply.
- No advertising data: we don't run ads and we don't collect data for advertising purposes.
2. How we use your data
We use your data for the following purposes only:
- To operate the app and keep your account working.
- To send you product updates if you've opted in to our newsletter — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it — only when analytics consent is granted.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the processors listed in the next section, who help us run the service.
3. Data processors we use
We rely on a small number of trusted services to run RevoHolm:
- Supabase — stores your account data and handles authentication. Their servers are located in the EU.
- Resend — delivers our newsletter emails when you subscribe. They process your email address to send emails on our behalf.
- Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager — collects anonymous usage data only when you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, this service is never activated.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for one purpose: Google Analytics. Here's how that works:
- When you first visit the site, we show a cookie banner asking for your preference.
- If you accept, Google Analytics cookies are set and your visit is tracked anonymously.
- If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no tracking takes place. Full stop.
- You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site — the banner will reappear.
5. Your rights under GDPR
If you're in the EU or UK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: you can ask us what personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: you can ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your data. We'll honour this within 30 days.
- Portability: you can ask for a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection: you can object to how we process your data.
- Withdraw consent: if you previously accepted analytics cookies, you can withdraw that at any time by clearing cookies and declining on the next visit.

6. Data retention
We don't hold on to data longer than necessary:
- Account data: retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your data within 30 days.
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics' default settings (14 months), after which it is automatically deleted.
- Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe. You can opt out at any point using the link in any newsletter email.
7. Data security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our database (Supabase) uses row-level security and authenticated access — your data can't be read by other users. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system on the internet can guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach that affects your data, we'll notify you promptly.
8. Children
RevoHolm is designed for adults managing home renovations. We don't knowingly collect any data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version. If you continue using RevoHolm after a change, that's taken as acceptance of the updated policy. If any change significantly affects how we use your data, we'll make an effort to notify you directly.
